A moving company is only as good as the crew that shows up at your door. Here is how ours is built, trained, and organized around Cedar Park and the towns nearby.

Where the standard came from

Armus Moving and Storage grew out of a simple frustration with movers who showed up late, rushed the wrap, and blamed the customer when something turned up broken at the other end. We built our crews around the opposite habits from the start.

Every job begins with a real walk through, either in person or on a video call, so we know the box count, the stairs, and whether a piano or a gun safe needs its own plan before the truck ever leaves the yard.

How crews are built

Each job has a lead who has run many moves, movers trained on wrapping and lifting technique, and a driver who knows both the local streets and the longer routes across Texas.

Crews stay together where we can manage it. People who have worked side by side for months move faster and communicate without needing to shout across the driveway, and the lead is your single point of contact from arrival to departure.

Training that starts before the first job

New movers spend their first days learning to pad and wrap furniture, build a tight load in the truck, and handle a dolly on a ramp before they ever go to a customer's home.

Packers train separately on dish packs, wardrobe boxes, and electronics, and drivers are trained on securing a load for the highway, since a truck that rides smoothly through town can still shift badly on a long run to Houston.

Working through a Texas summer

Our crews are used to the heat, but we do not pretend it is easy. Water is on every truck, breaks are scheduled rather than skipped, and the heaviest lifting is planned for the early hours whenever the day allows it.

What you can expect

On time, respectful of your home, and honest if a problem comes up during the day rather than hoping you do not notice. If something is not going to fit through a doorway, the lead will tell you before trying to force it, and offer a plan instead.
