Not every move goes house to house on the same day. Closings slip, renovations run long, and sometimes a family just needs a pause. Storage is how we cover that gap.

Storage For Moves That Do Not Line Up Neatly

When storage actually helps

The most common reason a Cedar Park family calls us about storage is a closing date that moved. The old house sells on one day and the new one is not ready for another two or three weeks.

Renovations are the other big driver. Furniture comes out of the house, the crew works for a few weeks, and everything goes back in once the floors or the kitchen are finished.

Downsizing between a house and a smaller apartment is a third case, where some of the furniture needs a longer term home while the rest of the plan gets sorted out.

How the handoff works

We load your things the same careful way we would for a direct move, wrap furniture, and build an inventory as it goes into storage so nothing is a mystery when it comes back out.

When you are ready, we deliver from storage the same way, on a schedule you set rather than whenever it happens to be convenient for us.

What goes into storage well

Furniture, boxed household goods, and most appliances store without issue for weeks or months at a time. Anything with a battery gets flagged during intake so it is not left sitting for a long stretch.

Items that are heat sensitive, like certain electronics, candles, and some artwork, get discussed up front so you know what to expect if the storage period runs into a hot month.

Short term versus longer term

A short storage run of a few weeks between closings is priced differently than a longer month to month arrangement, and we will tell you honestly which one fits your situation rather than pushing the longer option.

If your timeline changes partway through, tell us and we adjust the plan rather than locking you into the original estimate.

Getting your things back

Delivery out of storage is scheduled the same way a normal move is, with a window you agree to and a crew that carries the same inventory list used at pickup.

You get a chance to check items against that list as they come off the truck, so anything unexpected gets flagged on the spot rather than discovered weeks later.
